Book Title: The Road Less Travelled
Review: Dr M. Scott Peck a practising psychiatrist suggests ways in which facing our difficulties and suffering through the changes can enable us to reach a higher level of self understanding. In the book he discusses the nature of loving relationships: How to recognize true compatibility; how to distinguish dependency from love; how to become one’s own person.

Book Title: Wuthering Heights
Review: The reason I have chosen Wuthering Heights for world book day is because this novel is based on the greatest passion, and almost demonic love between the main characters Catherine and Heathcliffe. I know from working with human beings and clients that we are all in natural pursuit of passion and true love and that is what this novel concentrates on. I believe in life that we are all seeking our soul mate and twin flame. Catherine and Heathcliffe find true love together and demonstrates that in this life true love does indeed exist. As a philosopher I truly believe that true love can strike at any time in one’s life, and all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the ride. Life and love are a true gift in this life and as a lover myself I urge you not to fight your feelings and enjoy the roller coaster that love brings.

Book Title: The Power of Now
Review: This has been my go to book for a number of years. I've read it, re-read it and re-re-read it; highlighted and underlined quotes and entire paragraphs. The first time I read it, most of it went over my head but over time, more of it resonated. I do find bringing focus back to the now and to the breath a powerful technique for managing emotions and situations - it's just a case of remembering to do it!

Book Title: Life on the other side
Review: Shows you there are things that we don't understand. With an open mind and with spiritual insights, we begin to see life in a different way. I have seen things in my own life that made me read this book. Life is a beautiful place if you know where you’re going in life. We sometimes get lost in our own life and need the spirit world to guide us. I would tell everyone to read this book. It is one of my favourites

Book Title: Dreaming the Soul Back Home
Review: Just by reading the book my dreams are being remembered more. As an avid dream journalist and helper of dreaming, I know how empowering it is to be able to go back into dreams and get clarity. It enriches and is fun to read. He is a good guide and story teller. I will be reading parts of this book for a long time!

Book Title: The Alchemist
Review: In the quickest summary possible, 'The Alchemist' is a story of a man who makes the decision to follows his dreams. The story follows the life of a young shepherd called Santiago and his journey to find his Personal Legend, or in simpler terms his life purpose. The book very carefully highlights the difficulties that Santiago faces along his journey and shows how he overcomes these difficulties. Every time that I read this book I receive a slightly different picture and have been very instrumental in helping me through challenging and stressful times in my life thus far. I thoroughly recommend this brilliant story

Reader: Noel Sorbie 500979
Author: Neal Donald Walsch
Book Title: Conversations with God
Review: Neal Donald Walsch was experiencing a low period in his life when he decided to write a letter to God, venting his frustrations. What he did not expect was a response. As he finished his letter, he was moved to continue writing - and out came extraordinary answers to his questions. This work presents the answers that Walsch received, helping him to change himself, his life and the way he viewed other beings.

Book Title: Ask And It Is Given
Review: This book is an absolute must for anyone who is on the metaphysical or spiritual path. It offers such a rich foundation of how the conscious creation of reality works. This is the original source of "the secret" and fills in the gaps when it comes to the practical application of the Law of Attraction. It is such a fun read and the warmth and humour of "Abraham" shines through. It is one of those books to keep by your bedside. Pick it up when seeking an answer to a dilemma or problem. It always falls open at just the right page.
