I love photography and I love Tarot cards, especially the classic Rider-Waite deck.
So I just had to share this fascinating photography project by the Alice Smeets.

At the time of writing, Moon in Virgo is opposing Neptune in Pisces. Perfect symbolism for a project like this and I'll explain why.
Neptune in Pisces is the Tarot. Tarot is mystical, symbolic and offers a connection to universal guidance through it's archetypes just like Neptune in Pisces; Neptune is also the Artist's muse, her inspiration.
The Moon rules photography because it reflects light and is also connected to memory. The advertising slogan "It's A Kodak Moment" expresses the connection between memory and photographs perfectly.
Virgo, being an Earth sign ruled by Mercury, is about the practical effort and detailed planning required to execute such a complex project. It's about manifesting, making real, the Artist's ideas and intent.
Oppositions bring things to light. For good or bad. In this case, good! The project is being shared with the World via the on-line, virtual world. (haha! Neptune again!)
An interesting detail is that Smeets used crowd-funding to finance the project. Basically, she asked for donations from strangers.
The moon can also be "the people", the crowd. Neptune is inspiration. Virgo and Pisces are both connected to "service" and helping others. So the crowd was inspired to help the Artist with material (money) donations.
Oh, I do LOVE Astrology! And Photography.... and Tarot!
Here's wishing you a day of practical inspiration!
