There's a wish to change life to see if the grass is greener on the other side. The 4 of Cups tells you there is an offer coming but you feel no hopefulness. You need to feel connected with the past in some way. This will help you be more responsive to the present and relate it to your ordinary life. You need to feel that you are capable of interacting with others and you are looking for physical affection. To do this you must enjoy the simple things in life, the beautiful things that are around you, take in the sense and the textures. The simple pleasures that we can all take, it can be connected to our gardens, our pets, or the side that is dealing with nature. There is a longing to feel that you belong to something. You need to feel that you are part of a close community or a loving family. This may come out in your career or your work where you will feel a sense of emotional and physical security. You must have contact with relationships, animals or the countryside, this will give you a feeling of feeling connected. Sometimes it can take on another sort of connection, to do with religion or a spiritual path that you feel that you need to follow which is simply a group that has shared interests. Continue to explore your feelings and by doing so you will feel a connection. This will get rid of the apathy and take you out of the emotional rut. Sometimes it's the simple things in life that are healers.
