Only invest what you can afford to lose for you might not get it right the first time. Stay with what you've got and just invest a tiny amount. Use some of your collateral to work for you. The 7 of Pentacles is all about your goods and possessions in one way or another. It's about things that you've earned and worked for and it's a work card but you know that things happen slowly but this is linked to major finance. You will always put your financial security first. Seeing is believing for you. You can be quite rooted and earth bound when it comes to business matters or your financial concerns. The Hermit is here to tell you to go the privacy of your own company and to spend some time mulling things over. The Hermit is connected to the wisdom and knowledge that we search for inside ourselves which usually comes from experience and knowledge either from our own lives or the attachment to other people that we have known within our life time so it's a card of the past and looking back and remembering where we've come from and how we got from a to b. this is the wealth of knowledge, experience, and wisdom that we have gained through the experience of life. It must be the traditional approach. It must be based on something that you know has worked in the past that will be productive to the future or you must take the advice of someone whose had a huge influence upon you and has been some sort of mentor and inspired you into action in the past but it is certainly a time of privacy in order for you to sort out with your thoughts and feelings what you must do next but without any rude interruptions or thoughtless invasions from other people. The Hermit is all about being a recluse while you get things right. It is not a time of action until you've thought things through carefully.
