You have chosen the Devil and the 7 of Swords. The Devil is a card of temptation, which is usually to do with our materialistic desires of this world. It makes us greedy, and by being greedy we become enslaved into patterns of behaviour that perhaps we're not happy with. The Devil is all about the temptation we have to keep up with the Jones'. It's about the status and reputation that we feel is so important; you've realised at last it's time for a complete change of direction. The Devil has led you into addiction in the past, where you've become involved in having to work so hard to keep up with everybody else - but at least you've realised, so has everybody else. Nobody can keep this going, not to the standard that is ever enough for anybody. Once you start achieving what you want more, you are now turning your back on that outdated behaviour pattern, for you're becoming slightly less materialistic and much more spiritual in your approach. You've realised it's all about the needs from other people and the temptation to try and go along with what everyone else seems to be doing without any effort, but you've realised there are no free lunches. The 7 of Swords shows that you are completely changing direction, but you are doing so quietly, for you are aware that you do not want to be inspired or influenced by anyone else's opinions, ideas or behaviour. You feel a little bit dishonest for not discussing this with your close family or friends but you're not, you're just playing your cards close to your chest and you're doing so with honour and integrity with your best intentions. You are not up to no good. You really are doing the right thing, and because you'd really like to achieve something before you make any huge announcement, that's fine, for the 7 of Swords is advising you to just get used to it gently, acquire a little bit at a time. You're being asked to do this for your own good. You've made a complete u-turn. That's wonderful. Just don't give up for the 7 of Swords is telling you this is all about perseverance. You have to trust yourself, you have to be confident and yes, you may need to bump into things occasionally and negotiate the obstacle and to keep on track it won't be easy. There are no guarantees but at least you're saving yourself from a lifetime of worry through finance and materialistic cares. You've realised there are things in life that you can enjoy that are probably much better, and they come for free, such as the environment in which you live and some good, honest friendships that are nothing to do with what you own or how well you are doing at work. Just simply people liking you for the person you are inside, which is honourable and trusting.
