The Devil is the card of temptation, which means that sometimes we are emotionally bound to certain things where our addiction is towards the material goods in life. It can also be seen as being a little bit greedy, but that is because your reputation and status from other people is vitally important to you, which makes you a little bit too earthbound. You love anything which leads you into work where you earn the right to own or possess objects or goods. Things that happen through work will always be towards your financial security. You are quite rooted and earthbound but you are no fool. Seeing is believing for you, but you are hard to get close to for you have so much clutter. You hold a very high position of security and wealth and you are at the top of your field or working your way towards it. As long as financial security is there you'll work extremely hard and indeed, no-one could every accuse you of being lazy. You will make sure it happens. That is because you work hard and invest upon a traditional approach that is proved and testing in time before you make a contribution towards what is necessary. You have a Midas touch, for you are capable of being in charge and working hard towards a project that you know is tried and tested through and through. The Devil is asking you to work out a way in which you can also have a life that is not so materialistically bound towards your finances or the objects and clutter that come in through you being very materialistic. You need some sort of emotional relationship with other human beings or some interaction with nature itself. You are out of balance and ill at ease with yourself, for you are so materialistically earth bound by your sheer hard work towards your goal that you've got into a habit where you feel afraid that if you don't work this hard, you will not be credible. There is no point working extremely hard to acquire possessions if you cannot enjoy the simple, humble pleasures of friendship, family or interaction with other human emotions. You're being asked to try and get back in balance and not to be so serious with work to the detriment of not enjoying your life.
