Reading for: Charmaine 29/08/1986 - I am thinking of moving to Spain, will this be a good move?
Method of reading: Psychic tarot reading
The reading:
Dear Charmaine,
Thank you for your question. In order to shine a light on your query regarding moving abroad I will be using a Celtic Cross tarot spread in which I draw 10 cards that will each indicate to me a specific area of your life pertaining to this question. So that you are aware, when the cards are laid down they can either be in an upright or reversed (upside-down) position.
Your two starting cards are the Seven of Swords and The Star, and these offer me insight on where you stand in your current situation. I am feeling that there is an element of deceit on your part in that you are not being honest about your hopes and desires. When you are conversing about your move to Spain I believe that you are really holding back on sharing your truth about what you are looking to achieve by uprooting your life and moving abroad.
Cards three and four are The High Priestess and the Knight of Rods (reversed), and these relate to your immediate past and your immediate future. The High Priestess normally reveals herself when there is a big secret coming out and from this I wonder if the decision to move abroad came as a bit of a surprise to you. Nevertheless, this card also represents the idea of being in touch with your higher self and I believe that you have had a chance to do some soul searching after receiving the news that the move was on the cards. Moving into your future card, the Knight of Rods has a very frustrated energy associated with it. There is a chance that you will feel as if you were in a stalemate in making your decision to stay or leave. The Knight of Rods is so keen to just pursue his own interests or hurry things along that he fails to really understand whether he will be successful or what the consequences of his actions will be. So, don’t fall into that trap!
Cards five and six show me the balance between your conscious and subconscious thoughts. The Page of Pentacles is showing me that there is a financial benefit for you moving abroad. There is, in theory, a chance for you to have a financial fresh start but this is being strongly contrasted by the Three of Rods (reversed) which sits in your subconscious. You worry that you will get in over your head and run into problems that you did not plan for. This blends nicely with your near future card in the previous paragraph and I believe that it would be very beneficial to you to make a list of possible pitfalls that could arise and see if there are ways in which you can plan to combat them.
The next three cards in the reading show me what is externally affecting your decision to move to Spain (i.e. the bits that aren’t inside your head!). The Eight of Cups is showing me that you have a real sense of escapism surrounding yourself at the moment. Things are pointing towards the idea that the idea of the move has cropped up as a response to something missing in your life. What do you feel that you are lacking, and do you think you will exclusively be able to find it if you move away? In your environment you have the King of Pentacles which, again, reinforces this idea that financial security is the key area of worry and propulsion in your decision to move away. I also am under the impression that you will need to consult with someone who has a good head for finance, the energy that I get from this person is masculine and I believe someone in your family along the lines of an older brother or a dad. Consult for their opinion and see if they have any suggestions to help you feel financially secure and prepared for any eventuality. Furthermore, the Queen of Pentacles features in your reading and is telling me that your current lifestyle asks of you to be practical and homely. You don’t need to be psychic to know that moving home demands a lot of you physically and emotionally, but it is really important that you consider if you will be able to recreate the same sense of security in your new home abroad as you have experienced so far. As this card is very maternal, it is important that you consider your move to Spain in terms of you as a mother and how that will impact on your children. When preparing your contingency plan for potential pitfalls that could arise, you must make sure that you are able to maintain your composure as a secure mother at all times.
The final card of the reading summarises where you are headed long term and goes beyond the near future card previously mentioned. The last card of the reading, the Eight of Rods, is the card of swift change that is really positive when considering your move to Spain! This card projects the idea that you can expect to be very busy, but this is one of those ‘good busy’ periods where you are enthusiastic and energetic about the progress you are making. When all is said and done it is you who has the choice to move and your feelings of worry and preoccupation with the potential drawbacks of moving abroad hamper your desire to be free and strike while the iron’s hot and move abroad. When you change the focus of your energy from fearing to identifying and planning for the event of a potential pitfall then you will allow your energetic and positive feelings to flow through you and manifest your dreams to move to Spain.
I hope that this reading has offered you the insight that you need to help make you decision to move away, or not. Please do not hesitate to get back in touch again at any point for either another email reading or a telephone session.
