"Premonition Man" is the story of Christopher Robinson. Christopher is an ordinary, everyday person. He is not a mystic, or a religious man. But, since 1989, he has been haunted by premonitions and precognitive dreams on a regular basis.
At first, he was scared and horrified, but over the years he has learnt to read the cryptic messages in the dreams and manipulate where the dreams are directed. 'Premonition Man' contains interviews with scientists, psychologists, and journalists who have crossed Christopher's path and have validated his extraordinary claims of premonitions.
In April 2001 Christopher, who wanted desperately to validate his claims, contacted Professor Gary Schwartz of the University of Arizona. Schwartz is a published and respected scientist who specializes in individuals who appear to have psychic abilities. He was skeptical of Christopher's claims but eventually devised the 'Arizona experiments' and in August 2001 ten days of investigation began. The results - which are reconstructed and examined in-depth - are extraordinary.
The story of the 'Arizona Experiments' form the spine of the film, but around this central narrative is Christopher's story; looking at his lucid and terrifying dreams of 9/11, the London 7/7 bombings, and the death of Princess Diana. 'Premonition Man' discusses the implications of these astounding happenings and even how at times he was implicated for reporting crimes that had yet to occur.
