Motivation can be looked upon in a superficial way. We may wish that we were more motivated to exercise, or go to work. We may wish for more energy to go to work. We may wonder why we lack follow through in finishing projects.
In my experience as an enlightenment expert and mentor, I believe that, “We feel the deepest motivation when we are responding to our higher spiritual calling in this life. This is in relation to how the principle of Responsibility and our Base Chakra work together.
We actually need to decide that we are 100% responsible for wanting to explore, take ownership and action our higher calling in this life. This lights our fire in our Base and natural connection to the Kundalini creative energy within. This flows through us and feeds all our other energetic systems. Yes, “come on baby, light my fire!” is exactly right. We light up and we get motivated as a natural consequence.
It does not mean that we need to know what our higher calling is exactly before we start questioning what this may be. However, once we do start, the energy and motivation will begin to flow. Our willingness to explore and take interest in what brings our life the deepest meaning, cracks open our heart chakra. We feel much more in the breath of life, in the flow and open to the rhythms and cycles that present themselves for our higher learning. This brings forth more joy and a more light-hearted approach to life. We are free to explore without condition or attachment.
When we align our Base Chakra with our higher calling, what we are doing in essence, is spiritualising our will. When we do this, we not only have motivation, we have determination to follow through and action step-by-step guidance. We are no longer waiting for someone to reveal the big picture of our life purpose to us. We turn up everyday with the intention set to do just that for ourselves. We take responsibility.
I also find that we gain more patience, not less. Our Base Chakra assists us with containment of our reality and trusting Spirit. When aligned with responsibility, we are open to the ‘slow’ reveal that the Universe has to offer and enjoy the journey more. Not only that, but we greet the world with a greater enthusiasm, vitality, courage and authenticity. We feel less fear. We are less likely to act impulsively and take time in making those BIG decisions that matter.
So, it’s not just about motivation is it? It’s about the meaning, the action and the moderation of where our energy is directed. As always, it comes back to takings responsibility for ourselves and the willingness to follow through with our guidance one step at a time.
