Integrity

There are times when we may not be sure whether to speak or to keep silent about issues around us, but at other tines we get a strong feeling that tells us not to be silent. When this happens we may need to be ready for a confrontation, to be sure of ourselves and our convictions. We'll need steely determination, and to be ready to cut through to the heart of the matter.

If you are unsure how to proceed with an issue, to help decide what to do next, try to have clarity of mind and thought, and to be true to yourself. There could be an ethical or moral matter that you've felt the urge to speak out about but have lacked the courage to do so previously, or do you need to stand up for yourself or someone else? You may feel the need to uphold your principles or to defend your rights. If this is the case, it's time to decide if you need to take action. Is it time to listen to your conscience and do what you feel is right, to expose the truth and triumph over adversity?

Easier said than done, I know from harsh experience unfortunately, but if this sounds like something you need to do, know you have the reserves of courage and inner strength you need. It's likely you'll need to keep your emotions under control to do this and to survive under pressure. Try to remain detached and objective when dealing with an important situation. Find the truth of the matter, look for the facts, and analyse the matter clearly and objectively. Thinking logically will go in your favour, as will investigating your options and working out a strategy to solve the problem. When you feel strongly regarding something it's good to be encouraged to help you to remain steadfast and hold true to your values.

If you're in this situation, or know someone who is, if you take action regarding the matter, remember that regardless of the outcome it's doing what's right and doing your best that counts. Keeping your integrity even if those around you lie or keep quiet regarding the issue. Good luck.
