Covens have been known as a group of witches that get up to magic or spells.
But what if a COVEN is just a group of women making magic in their own lives
and each other's lives.
Magic can happen anywhere. What kind of Coven or group of women would you
like to be a part of? Women need women! When women form a group and do
things together things happen in their lives.
Some women begin Covens or Groups of women in their community who love
to sew, read fiction, or read relationship books and have discussions. Maybe you
feel isolated and would like to find out what women in your community would like
meet about. You can first get them together and then poll them to see what ideas
come up. Some women just start a tea and socializing group and then it can turn into
something else.
Most groups of this nature meet twice monthly. I know of Covens that meet and study
Tarot together, or write poetry, or talk relationships only, or groups based on women setting goals and following through, many groups are formed as journaling groups and offer journaling exercises....you write and share, women's self esteem groups, assertiveness groups, and of course hobby groups. Don't be afraid to reach out to the women in your neighbourhood and see if they would join a women group/coven. So many women need to get away and just be with women and do things, learn things and offer their gifts to a group.
Women's Covens, Groups or Support groups help all of us be together, stay healthy and have the support and friendships we need to be women. It ends the isolation and helps us grow and be better women.....try it!!!!
