Blue Moon in Taurus

The Taurus Blue, Full moon occurs on 31st October at 14:49 GMT/ 10:49 EST/07:49am PST

This is a transformative and dynamic full moon.

It’s a Samhain/Halloween full moon which is a once-in-a-lifetime event for some. The last time that a full moon was seen, in all U.S. time zones on Halloween, was 1944, according to the Farmer’s Almanac. The next Samhain Full Moon will occur in 2039, according to NASA.
This is a Blue Moon means it’s the 2nd full moon in one month. The last full moon was on 1st October 2020. A blue moon doesn’t look blue in colour, it’s just a rare moon so do take some time to celebrate this rare full moon and appreciate its special significance! The next Blue Moon is on 21st August 2021. The Blue Moon appears on average every 2.7 years.

This Taurus Full Moon is about breaking free from restrictions or any past or submerged issues that have prevented you from evolving and moving forward.

The Taurus Full Moon also happens to be in exact conjunction with Uranus so this full moon focus is connected to Change. Uranus is very future focused and rebels against tradition while celebrating equality, originality and individuality. Uranus in Taurus represents extreme weather or earth events, volcanoes, earthquakes, galactic events, political shocks, social unrest due to abuse of power, unexpected news or developments. Uranus is associated with technology, innovation, discovery, and all that is progressive. Uranus also represents Truth. This Full Moon’s focus is about hidden or shocking Truths that may emerge and challenge us to evolve, collectively as well as individually.

This is a challenging and transformative time for many of us. You may be experiencing challenges to confront aspects of yourself. Change is a powerful and healing catalyst that helps us evolve. It’s important to embrace any changes that may be pending and see the change as a guide as opposed to some threat.
If we fear or resist change, the Universe has an uncanny way of tapping us on the shoulder to remind us or confront us about what we may be avoiding. It’s very important to be kind to yourself and remember that judgements - whether directed at yourself or others - is a form of psychological violence. Judgement disrupts our ability to heal ourselves (and others) and self actualise. Be kind to yourself and loved ones. Remember it takes courage to follow your truth and speak your power.

Visionary and author Joseph Campbell once said: “Your wound is your genius.” Go make it happen.

Wishing you all a Blessed and Inspired Full Moon.
